Return of the Queen

This was Sirus's second show on Queen and he had been working hard to keep her fit and healthy along with training. He was excited for her foal, due to be born in a few months time Queen had just begun to show a baby bump, but didn't want to do anything to endanger her unborn foal so he had designed their routine tonight to be mainly walking and trotting but not in the general sense.

Their routine started with Queen slowly trotting along beside him until their reached the middle of the arena. With a flick of his wrist he sent her away from him side passing for a few meters before he clicked his tounge to hurry her up into a slow lope around him. Each time he clucked she changed leads doing little flying changes, her mane and tail flying out behind her. Once she had completed a figure of eight Sirus motioned for her to come in towards him. Slowing to a walk Queen placed her front hooves on the small red wooden box which had been placed just slightly off to one side of the arena. At Sirus's signal Queen stepped up onto the box until she was perched on the little red box her four hooves close together as she balanced in the spotlight. With a sweeping bow from Sirus Queen stepped lightly off the bow and circled around him, walking backwards in small circles as he rolled his shoulders back and then jolting forwards into and incredibly slow lope as he rolled his shoulder forwards again. Reaching the centre of the arena Sirus swept up his hands and Queen pulled her forelegs up into a half rear, and then as Sirus swung his torso low into a full bow she dropped gently onto her knees in the deep sand. With that finished Queen stood and walked alongside Sirus out of the arena.

"Good girl," Sirus crooned rubbing her neck as they walked from the arena.
